Construction Kicking Off at Springtree Yarrawonga: Meet the Team Helping Bring It to Life
We’re excited to share that civil works are set to commence at Springtree Yarrawonga, marking a major step forward in bringing our newest lifestyle community to life.
To deliver this important phase, we’ve appointed Civlec as our civil works partner, a respected company with extensive experience in retirement and lifestyle developments across Victoria. With preparations now underway, customers will soon see visible signs of progress on-site.
Experienced Hands on the Ground
Leading the project from Civlec is Jason Stewart, a seasoned civil construction professional with more than 25 years of experience across regional and metro projects.
“Civlec was established in 2007 and has worked on everything from high-density living and major infrastructure to aged care and retirement communities,” Jason explains. “We’ve delivered over 20 retirement villages, along with rail and hydraulic infrastructure projects throughout Victoria and into Southern NSW.”
What to Expect on Site
Jason shared that the first works will include site establishment and essential infrastructure.
“Our initial focus will be on setting up the site and beginning early infrastructure works,” Jason said. “It’s an exciting stage, as it marks the visible start of construction and brings the community one step closer to life.”
Jason and the Civlec team are no strangers to regional projects and the value of working with local suppliers and contractors.
“We really appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, the great weather, and the strong relationships we’ve built with local businesses,” Jason said. “It’s a productive environment, and the whole area has a really positive energy.”
When asked about Yarrawonga’s future, Jason was optimistic.
“This development will only add to the vibrant community feel in the Yarrawonga -Mulwala region,” he said. “It still has that true country charm, but with everything you need close by, from the lake to the shops, pubs, and clubs. It’s a beautiful place to live comfortably.”
