On Tuesday 9 September, 31 of our Springtree Cobram residents came together for a special outing, a cruise on the historic PS Cumberoona Paddle Steamer at Lake Mulwala.
The day couldn’t have been better. With the sun shining down, residents boarded at the Yarrawonga foreshore and settled in for a leisurely afternoon of conversation, laughter, and shared experiences. A delicious meal was enjoyed onboard as the paddle steamer glided across the lake, offering the perfect backdrop for connection and relaxation.
The event was hosted by Susan, Cobram’s new Community & Operations Manager, with Lisa, our Sales Manager, also joining the group on the day. It was a wonderful opportunity for residents to spend time together, connect with Susan in her new role, and share the experience with both members of the Springtree team.
The feedback from residents was overwhelmingly positive — many shared how grateful they were for the chance to spend quality time with neighbours, enjoy the sunshine, and create new memories. For some, it was a reminder of the unique community spirit that makes life at Springtree so special.
This outing was just the beginning. With Susan now leading community initiatives, residents can look forward to many more social activities, events, and opportunities to connect, both within the community and out in the region.
Life at Springtree is about more than homes, it’s about experiences, friendships, and moments like these.
